What to do in the garden right now
Pick a month. This is the list I actually work from — Garden Zone 7A. Adjust a week or two either way for yours.
Do this month
- Sow spinach, turnips and mustard for a fall cut
- Order garlic — it goes in next month here
- Lift and dry the last of the onions
Leave it alone
- Cutting perennials down — leave seed heads for the birds
- Feeding anything; let growth harden off
