What to do in the garden right now
Pick a month. This is the list I actually work from — Garden Zone 7A. Adjust a week or two either way for yours.
Do this month
- Order seed before the good varieties sell out
- Sharpen and oil everything in the shed
- Prune apples and blueberries on a dry day
Leave it alone
- The lawn — stay off it while it is frozen
- Anything in a pot outdoors; do not water
