What to do in the garden right now
Pick a month. This is the list I actually work from — Garden Zone 7A. Adjust a week or two either way for yours.
Do this month
- Plant tulips and daffodils — late is fine here
- Clean pots and trays while the tap still runs
- Mulch the rhubarb crown, not over it
Leave it alone
- Walking on sodden beds
- Pruning roses hard; wait for February
